"War is tragic. As human beings we are created in community and for community".
War creates disconnection, insecurities, famine, trauma, loss, grief and so much more. But I want to remind us that the reality is that the tragedies currently lived out in the Middle East, Gaza, Palestine and Israel affect the decision-makers and those in power LESS than the vulnerable ones at the front-lines of the war. Our responsible response as fellow human beings is to BE community - so think through how you will be with the most vulnerable. Pray.
Light a candle.
Dig for the full-stories that the media does not always show first. Be more curious. Learn to dialogue. Listen to understand. Urge leaders to end bloodshed and open up more humanitarian corridors to help mend the many broken.
"The purpose is not to replace the role of parents in having these conversations but rather seeks to enhance and support those discussions that parents have at home".
Sex education builds upon concepts gradually over the life cycle of a student. The purpose is not to replace the role of parents in having these conversations but rather seeks to enhance and support those discussions that parents have at home. Over the years, I´ve come to believe strongly in the idea that we can integrate religious values with accurate sex information.
Even people of faith can benefit greatly from sex education.
We all need sex education.
